1. Definitions

2. Acceptance of Terms

By submitting a contact form, bringing a watch to our workshop, or booking a service, you agree to these Terms and Conditions in full. These terms apply to all service relationships between Chronvale and the Customer. You must be at least 18 years of age or the legal owner of the watch to request services.

3. Service Description

Chronvale offers three watch services as described on our website and service documentation:

Services are available to customers located in Thailand. Remote submission of watches for service may be arranged by prior agreement only.

4. Service Scope and Authorisation

No work beyond the agreed service scope will be carried out without prior notification and consent from the Customer. If an issue is discovered during service that requires additional parts or work, Chronvale will contact the Customer to explain and obtain approval before proceeding. Customers may decline additional work, in which case the watch will be returned in its current state with the standard service record completed.

5. Pricing and Payment

Prices for each service tier are published on the Chronvale website and are stated in Thai Baht (฿). Prices are inclusive of standard service scope as described. Parts replacement, if required, is quoted separately and confirmed with the Customer before ordering. Payment is due on collection of the watch unless otherwise agreed in writing.

Chronvale reserves the right to update pricing. The price communicated at the time of booking applies to that specific service.

6. Turnaround Times

Estimated turnaround times are provided at intake and represent a good-faith estimate rather than a fixed commitment. Complex restoration work may take longer than initially estimated. Chronvale will notify the Customer promptly if timelines change. Watches will not be released until the agreed service is complete and payment has been received.

7. Watch Custody and Care

Watches accepted for service are held in a secure, locked workshop environment. Each piece is individually labelled and stored separately from other jobs. Chronvale takes reasonable care of all watches in its custody. Customers are advised to inform us of any known fragility, previous repairs, or special handling requirements at intake.

Chronvale's liability for loss or damage to a watch while in our custody is limited to the market value of the watch at the time of intake, supported by photographic or written documentation taken on arrival where applicable. Chronvale is not liable for pre-existing damage not identifiable at intake.

8. Parts and Originality

For restoration work, original parts are preserved wherever practical. Where replacement parts are required, this will be discussed with the Customer before ordering. Chronvale does not replace parts without prior consent. Replaced parts will be noted in the written service record. Replaced original parts will be returned to the Customer on request.

9. Intellectual Property

All content on the Chronvale website — including text, images, and layout — is the property of Chronvale and may not be reproduced without written permission. Service records issued to Customers are provided for their personal reference and may not be altered or misrepresented.

10. Disclaimers

Services are provided in good faith based on the condition of the watch at intake. Chronvale does not represent or imply that any service will achieve a particular level of ongoing performance in all conditions. Watch movements are mechanical objects subject to natural wear and environmental factors outside our control. No outcome beyond the specific work described in the service record is implied.

Information on our website is provided for general guidance only. Nothing on this site constitutes professional valuation, insurance, or collectibles advice.

11. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted under Thai law, Chronvale's total liability to any Customer in connection with a service shall not exceed the amount paid for that specific service. Chronvale is not liable for indirect, consequential, or incidental loss arising from the provision or non-provision of services.

12. Uncollected Watches

Watches not collected within 60 days of completion notification will be stored at the Customer's risk. Chronvale reserves the right to charge a reasonable storage fee for watches uncollected after 90 days, and may take appropriate legal steps to recover storage costs for watches uncollected after 180 days.

13. Termination

Either party may withdraw from a service arrangement before bench work has commenced, with no charge to the Customer. Once work has begun, reasonable costs incurred for parts or time already expended may be charged if the Customer cancels. Chronvale may decline to accept or continue a service if it is not feasible to complete the work to an appropriate standard.

14. Dispute Resolution

In the event of a dispute, both parties agree to first attempt to resolve the matter by direct communication. If an informal resolution is not reached, the dispute shall be subject to the jurisdiction of Thai courts and governed by the laws of the Kingdom of Thailand.

15. General Provisions

These Terms constitute the entire agreement between Chronvale and the Customer regarding watch services. If any provision is found to be unenforceable, the remaining provisions continue in full effect. Failure by Chronvale to enforce any term does not constitute a waiver of that term.

16. Changes to Terms

These Terms may be updated periodically. The version in effect at the time a service is booked applies to that service. Material changes will be noted on our website with a revised effective date.
