What Are Cookies?
Cookies are small text files that a website saves on your device when you visit. They are widely used to help a site work as expected, remember your choices, and give website owners basic information about how their pages are used.
Cookies do not give us access to your device or personal files. They can only store information you have shared with us or information about how you interact with the site.
The Cookies We Use
Essential Cookies Always active
Required for the website to function. These handle basic operations like page navigation and security. They cannot be switched off.
Duration: session / up to 1 year · Provider: Chronvale
Analytics Cookies
Help us understand how visitors find and use our site — which pages are viewed, where visitors come from, and how long they stay. Data is aggregated and not linked to individual identities. We use Google Analytics if enabled.
Duration: up to 2 years · Provider: Google Analytics
Marketing Cookies
Used to measure the effectiveness of advertising, where we run it. These may be set by third-party services such as Facebook (Meta Pixel) or Microsoft (Bing Ads) if those platforms are configured. We do not use marketing cookies for personalised ad targeting by default.
Duration: up to 180 days · Provider: Meta / Microsoft
Preference Cookies
Remember settings that change how the site behaves or looks, such as your cookie consent choices. These make your next visit more convenient by restoring your preferences.
Duration: up to 1 year · Provider: Chronvale

Third-Party Cookies
Some cookies are set by third-party services we may use. Where those services are active, they may place their own cookies on your device in accordance with their own privacy and cookie policies. The main third parties are:
- Google Analytics — used to understand website traffic. See Google's Privacy Policy.
- Meta (Facebook Pixel) — used for ad performance measurement if advertising is active. See Meta's Data Policy.
- Microsoft (Bing Ads) — used for ad performance measurement where applicable. See Microsoft's Privacy Statement.
- Google Maps — used on our contact page to display our location. May set cookies if you interact with the map. See Google's Privacy Policy.
We do not control how those third parties use data collected through their cookies. Where those services are optional (analytics, marketing), they will only be active if you have consented.
How Long Cookies Last
- Session cookies — exist only while your browser is open. Deleted automatically when you close the browser tab or window.
- Persistent cookies — remain on your device for a set period (typically between 30 days and 2 years) or until you delete them. They allow the site to recognise your preferences on future visits.
Our cookie consent preference is stored as a persistent item in your browser's localStorage for up to 1 year. This is what prevents the cookie banner from reappearing on each visit.
